Overall, with its wonderful on-screen chemistry, tone, and the way the story is told, 2 Hearts is a delightful viewing experience. Given the premise, it is no surprise that the film is a real tearjerker. The chain of events that take place and the end result is proof of that. Directed by Lance Hool, it stars Jacob Elordi, Tiera Skovbye, Adan Canto, and Radha Mitchell in pivotal roles. A machine is then used to beam x-rays through the persons body and record a picture on an x-ray film. This story is as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming and at the end of the day, we’re all destined for something. Based in faith, the two intersecting and blossoming love stories that are presented beg the question, “Is life happening to you or is life happening for you?” I don’t think you have to be a faith-based person to find that question intriguing, because if you didn’t think we are all connected somehow previously, this story may change your mind. Doubling down on not taking life for granted and living in the moment, 2 Hearts believes in you as much as it believes in itself. Not only does it feel very genuine but it puts life in perspective in a very real way.
